But you will do it using Mono I presume.
What's Mono/Novells standpoint when it comes to the latest rules from Apple regarding developing applications for their mobile devices?

I will develop for all ;-)

iPhone, Android, Pre and Windows 7.

Each has its own pros and cons, worth learning the whole space

Hi trond, I being checking arround as well for the same goal, but so far my best bet so far is to create a custom php for that will read data over the sugar soap api.

then to call contacts to fill up the form use a custom campaing template.

There is a tool am am checking out also that just added the suggar connector. Seach for clicktools. They have this for salesforce, sugar, ms crm and oracles

Well, I am not doing that much .Net development. But there is some.
Netbeans and Eclipse are OK, but hm, well. I think they are slow. Check my "rantings" on Netbeans and Eclipse in another post :)

You're developing software for a Windows environment and platforms. It makes sense to use a Windows platform for C# since it is proprietary. I use only Ubuntu but, my development efforts are for standards based web sites that will run on all platforms and OS's. Being a fanboy or OS purist is no substitute for using the best tools for the job. Best of luck with your project.

It seems logical to go back to Windows if you are doing a lot of .NET development.

I do not agree on the better supported PHP development tools in windows, both Netbeans and Eclipse are solid development IDEs and best of all they are supported on all the big ones (Windows, Mac and *nix).

I really don't see what that would gain you. Sure, you can install .NET 1.1, 2.0, 4.0 side-by side, but the newer frameworks are backwards-compatible anyway (except for a few obscure changes), so this is only to ensure ultra-backwards-compatibility, and it isn't much different to what Mono does with having all the 1.0 and 2.0-3.5 assemblies anyway. Also, Mono versions really don't map easily to .NET versions at all, and are much more frequent.

Point taken, but this can be fixed like they do in .Net. If I upgrade to .Net framework 3.5 I still have .Net 2.0 on the machine, and so when I compile an application I just tell which version I want to use. This, I believe is working from version 2.0 and upwards.
It would not surprise me if you know more about this than I do though.

The real purpose for the dopinglist is to have the most complete list of suspended athletes - both present and historical. Since it is in a database you can crosscheck and more. You can get some information here and there, but not the complete list.
Also: ADAMS is not accessible for other than those who works in sports (International/National Federations, National Anti-Doping Agencies/Regional Anti-Doping Agencies), which means that no journalists, researchers and so on has access to it.
