If you are a Plaxo-user, you know how great it is to have contacts, calendar, notes and more synced and accessible from anywhere. As I am a Linux-user, and not using Thunderbird – but Evolution. I can’t sync my contacts with the ones in Plaxo.
I have therefor been searching for information on how to create such a plugin. I have found APIs and more on the Plaxo-website, and I am in contact with the company behind Plaxo. Just recently I found out that Plaxo now uses SyncML to synchronize with their current clients and servers. So now things are becoming quite interesting.
My idea is to create a plugin for Evolution using Mono C# to create this plugin.

As I just found out that there is a project for synchronizing between phones, software and SugarCRM, this project is starting to look really interesting.
Hi trond, I being checking arround as well for the same goal, but so far my best bet so far is to create a custom php for that will read data over the sugar soap api.
then to call contacts to fill up the form use a custom campaing template.
There is a tool am am checking out also that just added the suggar connector. Seach for clicktools. They have this for salesforce, sugar, ms crm and oracles
