According to those who works with IP-addresses and so are experts on the field, todays internet will be “full” within 2011. That’s because of the 32-bit IPv4.
With IPv6 we get 128 and also enough IP-addresses – again according to those same experts.
A Google blog tells me that with the new IPv6 we get three billion IP-addresses each. Nice. Now… How do I afford three billion computers and addresses???
